After WWII, many situations had a horrible effect on the health of all the people in this country. Several big industries took a major hit after the government took them off the payroll. THE GRAVY TRAIN ENDED-and they were not happy.
There were many players in this scenario, but I am just going to focus on one today. I will get to the others in a few weeks.
So, let's start with BIG OIL. The most notorious player on the planet. John D. Rockefeller did not believe in competition. He destroyed anyone who might compete with the gasoline combustion engine. That is why there have been no advances in transportation in the last 150 years. If electric cars come into your mind, do some research. They use up more resources than gas. We carry in our pockets more data than they had in 1969 to put men on the moon. But we still cannot find a cleaner form of transportation??????? It’s also no surprise that the biggest banks now own the biggest oil companies.
Anyway, back to WWII....
